Marcella Wold Obituary Marcella Wold (Varilek) It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Marcella (Marce) from this world to the next on December 5, 2024, while surrounded by family. Marce will be deeply missed by all, and we will carry her elegant and gentle spirit with us as we remember how she touched our lives, especially her epic Thanksgiving feasts. Marce is survived by Steve Wold, her husband of 61 years; her son, Jeff (Jackie); grandson, Zane (Tabor); granddaughter, Abby (Kate); step-grandson, Jeffrey (Liz), and step-granddaughter, Jessica (Andrew); her brother, Joe Varilek (Teri); sister, Rosemary Bender (LeRoy), and sister MaryJo Bauder. Marce is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews, and step great grandchildren. Marce was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Lillian Varilek; sister, Georgine (Kubal) Suing, Margaret Kniffen, and brother, Jim Varilek. The family would like to thank the staff at North Memorial Hospice and the Birches at Trillium Woods for the wonderful care that they gave Marce.
