Marcia Mertens Obituary Mertens, Marcia J. Age 57 of Minneapolis, passed away on October 24, 2009 after a courageous battle with cancer. Preceded in death by mother, Marjorie; and infant brother, Rodney. She is survived by her father, Henry Mertens of Easton; brothers, Kevin (Diana) of Easton and Ron (Deb) Mertens of Wells; many nieces and nephews, special friends, and beloved dog, Truffles. Marcia was born in Blue Earth, graduated from Delavan High school and was also a graduate of Southwest State University in Marshall. She was a self-employed CPA. Memorial service will be held Thursday, October 29, at 3 PM with a visitation one hour prior at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 4557 Colfax Ave S., Minneapolis.
