Maren Hed Obituary Hed, Maren Louise, Maren was born on May 4, 1960, and died peacefully at home surrounded by her family on November 27, 2010 after a courageous two year battle with breast cancer. She will be forever deeply loved by her husband Richard Hurrelbrink, and her two sons Tucker and Duncan, and her devoted dogs Cooper and Elke. Maren was the daughter of Winifred and the late Gordon Hed, and sister to Randy (Tamara) and Tracy. Maren had countless friends who loved her so much and were incredibly supportive to both her and her family during her illness. She was a remarkable woman in many ways, with a quiet grace and intelligence that drew people to her. She will be greatly missed. Memorials are preferred either to the Masonic Cancer Center at the University of Minnesota, or to CaringBridge, a resource that sustained us throughout her journey over the past two years. A celebration of her life will be held Thursday, December 2 at the Lafayette Club in Minnetonka Beach at 4PM.
