Schuster, Margaret Ann Atwood Peggy Beloved mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, teacher and friend, passed away peacefully on May 20. Peggy, age 53, leaves behind her loving husband of 17 years, Martin Marty; sons, Charlie, 11, and David, 9; parents, Richard and Frances Atwood and Gordon and Patricia Schuster; sister, Betsy Massie (John); brother, Ed Atwood (Susan); sister-in-law, Katie Hines (Chris); brother-in-law, Tom Schuster (Ann); 16 nephews and nieces and so many dear friends whose relationships she cherished. Peggy was a Minnetonka High School graduate ('73), attended the University of Puget Sound, and received her undergraduate and master's degrees from the University of Minnesota. Peggy taught at The Blake School for 20 years, creating lasting relationships with so many fellow teachers, administrators, students and parents. As a quintessential teacher she has left us many lessons about living life to the fullest. Though teaching was her passion, her most important and satisfying job was that of a mother. After leaving her teaching position in 2000, Peggy remained active in the Blake community through volunteer activities, as well as nurturing her own children's education. Other interests included her active involvement with the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, Skijammers, Ski-Away, WCC Sunday School, book clubs, Garden Club, and walking her Labradors on Noble Road. Peggy will always be remembered for her generous spirit, smile, positive attitude, intellect and grace.
