Marian LaVigne Obituary LaVigne, Marian L. age 88 of Minneapolis, born March 25, 1922 died peacefully in her sleep on September 2, 2010. Preceded in death by husband, James C. LaVigne and son, Kevin LaVigne. Survived by siblings, Fidelis Eckes, Gerie Hannon and Jean Hall, sons, Mark and wife Liz, Mike and wife Kathy, Paul and wife Karen and Jim and wife Kate; daughters, Mary Quirk and husband Mike, Barb LaVigne and husband George Wilkes and Beth LaVigne; daughter-in-law, Laurie LaVigne; 16 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial 11:30 AM Thursday, September 9, 2010 at The Church of St. Anthony of Padua, 813 Main Street NE, Minneapolis. Visitation one hour prior to Mass at church. Interment Holy Name Cemetery, Medina. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Kevin LaVigne Memorial Award at Benilde-St. Margarets School, 2501 Highway 100 S., St. Louis Park, MN 55416.
