Marian Lieske Obituary Age 68 of Long Lake passed away January 11, 2010. Preceded in death by her parents, one sister and one brother. She is survived by her husband, Myron.Marian was born and raised in Indiana. On February 4, 1961, she was married to Myron Lieske in Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Highland, Indiana. They lived in various states before making their home in Long Lake, MN in 1977.She was an accomplished seamstress having been self-taught. She made everything, from numerous shirts and sweaters to dresses and a beautiful dress coat. She also made dress handbags and wallets and a clever quilt that folds into its own carrying case. She loved her cats, over the years having 8 of them, each well loved and taken care of.A Memorial Mass will be held Tuesday January 18th at 5:30PM at St. Therese Catholic Church at 18323 Minnetonka Blvd. in Deephaven MN. Refreshments will be served following.Final interment of the cremains will be at the Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville, IN at a date to be determined. Memorials are preferred to Hillsdale College, Hillsdale, 33 East College Street, Hillsdale, MN 49242.
