Marie Tietz Obituary Tietz, Marie Esther (Hinnenthal) died April 28, 2007. She was born on December 28, 1916 to Rev. Gerhard & Rosetta Hinnenthal in Goodhue, MN. She graduated from Dr. Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN in 1938. She taught parochial school in LaCrosse, WI for two years, after which she took a position at the Oswald Dry Cleaning establishment in New Ulm where she met her future husband, Victor Tietz. They were married in November of 1949. They resided in New Ulm until the spring of 1967, when they moved to Minneapolis where they were both employed by Harkraft Inc. Marie was preceded in death by her loving husband of 50 years, Victor Tietz. She is survived by her son, Richard; her sister, Erna Miller; many nieces and nephews, and seven adoptive grandchildren. Funeral Service 11:00 am Wednesday at Timothy Evangelical Lutheran Church, 7814 Mtka. Blvd. in St. Louis Park. Visitation 5-7pm Tuesday (Tonight) at David Lee Funeral Home in Wayzata and 1 hr prior to service at church. She will be interred 3pm Wed. at St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery in New Ulm.
