Marilyn Almquist Obituary Biography At the age of 78 she died of pancreatic cancer on Nov. 18, 2014. She was a lifelong faithful servant of Jesus and imparted her faith onto her family. She was born on a small farm near Clearwater, MN., and later resided in Plymouth for nearly 50 years. She is survived by husband, Jim, children, Mary Jo Steffenhagen (Ron), Gary (Sandy), Dean (Kaydene); grandchildren, Jason (Michelle), Joseph, Caleb (Kara) Steffenhagen; Megan Tait (Kyle), Alison Almquist; Kelly and Jim Almquist; great-grandson, Matty Steffenhagen; her sister Pauline Matthees, brother, Richard Powell (Barbara), two sister-in-laws, and many nieces and nephews. Memorial Service to be held at Wayzata Evangelical Free Church, 705 Highway 101, Plymouth, on Sunday, December 7th at 2pm followed by a dessert reception.
