Martin Walsh Obituary Walsh, Martin E. age 72, of Naples, Fla., passed away on August 7, 2008. Born in Minot, N.D. on May 11, 1936, Marty lived in Fargo, N.D. for 33 years after graduating from The University of Notre Dame. During that time he held various sales and management positions for Butler Machinery Company. He later became a fundraising and stewardship consultant to churches as a second career. Marty's lifelong passion was his family and he is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Verna; sons, Michael (Julie), David (Lisa) and Daniel (Elizabeth); and grandchildren, Nicole, Jonathan, Lauren, Natalie and Emily.
