Mary Burnett Obituary Burnett Mary Jo G-Jo Burnett, age 60, of Edina, formerly of Wayzata. Passed away peacefully on August 31, 2005 surrounded by her family after a courageous year long battle with renal cancer. Preceded in death by father, Joseph Kelso. Survived by husband, James; daughters, Carrie Kuehl and husband David, and Amie Burnett; granddaughter, Winnefred Jo Kuehl; mother, Virginia Kelso; sister, Barbara Douglas & husband Pat; brothers, Joseph Kelso and Timothy Kelso & wife Angie; nieces, nephews, other relatives and close friends. Mary Jo, loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, was co-owner of The Elegant X in Wayzata for 34 years, an exceptional volunteer throughout her life, and an active member of the St. Bartholomew Community. Mary Jo and her family wish to thank all of her caregivers at Park Nicollet Cancer Center, Methodist Hospital, Masonic Cancer Center, and the University of Minnesota Medical Center/Fairview Riverside for all of their kindness, care and support during Mary Jo's illness. Memorial Mass Wednesday September 7, 7:00 PM at The Church of St. Bartholomew, 630 E. Wayzata Blvd, Wayzata with visitation starting at 5:00 PM at the church. Private interment Lakewood Cemetery.
