Mary Hanson Obituary Mary Ann Hanson, 93, of Plymouth, MN passed away peacefully on August 11, 2024. Mary was born on January 23, 1931, in Warren, MN. After Mary graduated as Valedictorian of her Warren High School class, she went on to study English and education at Gustavus Adolphus College. She transferred and graduated from the University of Minnesota. She met William (Bill) John Hanson at Gustavus College. They married in Warren, MN on June 26, 1954. Mary and Bill settled in Silver Bay, MN and went on to have three children David, Patricia and Tom. Mary was predeceased by her beloved husband, Bill and her brother, Neil Mattson and sister-in-law, Marilyn Mattson. Mary is survived by her children David (Colleen), Patricia (Larry), Tom (Mary Beth); grandchildren Carly (Matthew), Matt, Christina (Lance), Justin, Jake (Brenda), Hannah (Robert); Katelyn (Nick), Erik (Meagan), Taylor (Bobby), Connor (Kate) and her great-grandchildren Madison, Kennedy, Grayson, Stella, Audrey, Clara, Nolan, Colin, Caroline and Rex. She was a faithful woman who loved her family, reading, daily crossword puzzles and a morning cup of coffee. She will be deeply missed yet we are comforted to know she is at peace and reunited with her beloved husband, Bill. A small service was held on Saturday, August 17, 2024.
