Mary Mullin-Cunningham Obituary
Mullin-Cunningham, Mary Frances Age 78, of Orono, passed away on December 2, 2014 after an eight-year battle with a degenerative brain illness. She was preceded in death by parents, sister and husband. Beloved mother, grandmother, and friend she was always young-at-heart. She loved to read, play piano and tennis, and travel. She especially loved spending time with family and friends at her cabin in the Adirondacks Mountains of NY. Originally from Utica, NY, Mary Frances lived in Orlando, Fl, Detroit, MI and Rochester, NY. She graduated from St. Francis de Sales Catholic High School in 1954. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from Wayne State in 1971 and her Master's of Library Science from the University of Michigan in 1978. She worked for General Motors as a corporate librarian for many years before starting her own information/ research business, MFM Services, in Rochester, NY and Detroit, MI. Survived by daughter, Kate (Art) Berman and grandchildren, Max, Elena and Elizabeth of Orono; also stepchildren, Andrew (Beth) Cunningham (of Cincinnati, OH) and Anne (Ron) Buckley (of Columbus, OH); and grandchildren Aaron and Ellie Cunningham and Jake, Adam and Lily Buckley. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, December 10, 9:00 am at The Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 155 County Road 24, Medina with visitation starting at 8:30 am. Burial will be in Dearborn, Michigan.
