Maryanne Reed Obituary Reed, Maryanne "Candy" Louise (Cain) Age 68, formerly of Plymouth. Passed away May 10, 2015 in St. Peter, MN. Preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Angelo and Francesca Mandile; parents, Gordon and Mary (Mandile) Cain; maternal aunts and uncles, Anne (Mandile) Williams and Robert Williams, Dominic and Irene Mandile, and James Mandile. Survived by husband, Deacon John Reed; children, Mary Jean (Reed) Mallberg (Brett) of Plymouth, MN, Christina (Reed) Shortall (Dan) of Mankato MN, and J.J. Reed of Mankato, MN; grandchildren: Maverick Mallberg, Tom, Nate, Lily, and Sara Shortall; siblings, Joseph (Bonnie) Cain of Bloomington, MN, Richard (Kay) Cain of Minneapolis, Susan (Cain) Strandberg (Richard) of Mesa, Arizona; maternal aunt, Elvira (Mandile) Rebar of Mesa, Arizona; close cousins, Kathleen (Williams) Nordstrom (James) of Burnsville, Fran (Williams) Hillman (Mike) of Duluth. Many first and second cousins along with nieces and nephews of Gordon and Mary Cain. Also survived by many cousins who are descendants of Francesca & Angelo Mandile. Maryanne attended Basilica of St. Mary's Grade school, Minneapolis, MN and graduated in 1964 from St. Margaret's Academy High School, Minneapolis MN. Maryanne was a dedicated employee as Assistant Manager at the Glenwood V-Store in Minneapolis. Retired from a long career working for the MBC as an Account Clerk. Maryanne participated and supported her husband, Deacon John's deaconate duties and ministries at their family parish of St. Bartholomew's in Wayzata. No matter how powerful, caring and loving her personality was, eventually her body gave out. But what remains stays not only in our hearts, but in the memories we have of her. Mass of Christian Burial Friday, May 15 at 11:00 AM at The Church of St. Bartholomew, 630 E. Wayzata Blvd in Wayzata. Visitation 1 hour before Mass.
