Maude June Wyffels (Krecklow), age 77, of Plymouth, Minnesota, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, May 17, 2026.

Maude grew up in southwest Minneapolis near Lake Harriet. During her youth, she trained in ballet with the Andahazy Ballet Company, beginning a lifelong love of the arts. She graduated from Regina High School in 1966 and later attended the University of Minnesota, where she studied French.

Maude dedicated 25 years of her career to caring for residents at Mount Olivet Rolling Acres, where her compassion, warmth, and kindness left a lasting impact on many lives.

She found joy in gardening, adored dogs, and was a passionate fan of the Minnesota Timberwolves. Above all else, Maude cherished her role as a grandmother and deeply loved her family.

Maude is survived by her children, JD (Christine) Spangler and Jesse (Sjorn) Lundquist; and by her beloved grandchildren, Bailey Spangler, Brandon (Naomi) Spangler, Freyja Lundquist, and Cecilia Lundquist.

Her family would like to thank the staff of Optage Hospice and SummerWood of Presbyterian Homes for the nurturing and collaborative care they provided. Their support not only enriched Maude’s life, but also allowed her loved ones to spend meaningful quality time with her during this stage of her journey.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, July 31, 2026, at 6:00 PM at SummerWood Fellowship Chapel, 16205 36th Ave N, Plymouth, MN 55446.
