Max Carlson Obituary
Carlson, Max William Age 81, of Plymouth, passed away July 17, 2008. Preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Esther Carlson, and wife, Jane Carlson. Survived by his loving family, wife of 29 years, Harriet; sister, Lorraine (Atwood) Larson; brother, Fendell (Lucy) Carlson; son, Kent (Mary) Carlson; daughter, Sara (Bill) Carlson; stepchildren, Kevin (Anna) West, Lael West, John (Lisa) West, Jason (Susan) West; grandchildren, Kent Jr., Emily, Stephanie, Nicole, Andrea, Linsey, Megan, Matthew, Zachary, Joshua, Riley, Connor, Thomas; great-grandchildren, Kendall, Karson, Avery; and loving nieces and nephews. Max enjoyed a fulfilling career at General Mills where he served in various management capacities for more than 25 years. Max shared many gifts with those with whom he shared his life, and will be remembered for his strong will and determination and his passion to enjoy every minute of his life. He loved the city of Wayzata, the Wayzata Community Church, Lake Minnetonka, family vacations, trips to Itasca State Park, Voyager Village, winters in Florida, and so much more. Throughout his life, Max was extremely active in many pursuits, and enjoyed traveling, sailing, skiing, golfing, reading, playing bridge and just relaxing with a good cup of coffee and a treat from Wuollet's. Max was a very proud man-proud of his family, his friends and his country. He will be greatly missed. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 21st at 1 p.m. at Wayzata Community Church, 125 E.
