Melissa Larson Obituary Melissa Faye Ramsey Larson, age 69, of Excelsior, MN, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2024. She was born on July 21, 1954, in Columbus, Ohio. Melissa graduated from the University of Minnesota and worked as a mental health therapist and homemaker. She loved the outdoors, skiing, drawing, and playing the piano. Above all, she cherished her role as a grandmother. She is survived by her brother, Charles Ramsey III (Deb), and her children: Ryan Larson (Molly Smith), Rachel McDougall, Kristin Babler (Jayson), and Matthew Larson (Brenna), along with her grandchildren: Allie, Liam, and Emma. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mervin Larson, and her parents, Charles Ramsey Jr. and Mary Lou White. A funeral service will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Eden Prairie, MN, on July 19, 2024. Visitation at 10:00 AM, service at 11:00 AM.
