Melvin Vermillion Obituary away peacefully on July 5, 2012. Born April 22, 1930 in Sioux City, IA. Graduated from Iowa University, and served in the Navy. He began a lifelong career in the Automobile industry with Studebaker, retiring after 30 years with Chrysler. He loved his cars, and always had a great story to tell! His greatest love was his wife of 44 years, Lucille, who passed away in 2002. He cherished his family and countless friends. He is survived by children, Michelle Johnson (Rick), Mark Vermillion (Shannon) and Donelle Slater(Jay). Known as Grampa Donuts, he will be dearly missed by his 7 grandchildren.
