Michael Nixon Obituary Nixon, Michael T. Age 69, of Plymouth. Born November 18, 1937 in Newcastle-on-Tyne, UK, he died peacefully May 4, 2007 at Presbyterian Homes in Lake Mtka. after a long struggle with cancer. Mike was a pioneer & advocate in classroom acoustics & noise control. Preceded in death by his parents Maureen Copper & John Nixon; brother, Pat Nixon. Survived by Helene, his wife of 45 years; sons, John (wife, Amy) of NY, David (wife Joyce); daughter, Michele; granddaughters, Elizabeth & Alexandra; brother, Anthony (wife, Elaine) of UK; step-brothers, Paul Copper of UK & Christopher Nixon of Australia... many other loving family members, colleagues & friends.
