Mike will be deeply missed by Bridget, his loving wife of 40 years; children Stephanie (Ryan) Olson, Christopher (Anita) Norton, Ray Norton (Tori), his mother Eleanor, siblings Tina (Kevin) Pashina, Tom (Julie), Lavena Wilhelm (Jon), grandchildren Savannah (Brian) Rajchel, Morgan Olson, Rocco Olson, Graham Norton, and Waylin Norton, former spouse Kathy (Greg) Stoner, many in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends. Preceded in death by his father Bob. Mike was born March 28, 1955 and grew up in Minnetonka. Mike lived life to the fullest and always with a smile and a laugh. He was an "if its broke, I can fix-it" guy, the person people called for help because he was the jack of all trades. He enjoyed traveling to warm weather destinations, winter camping, summer RVing, hunting, fishing, swimming, and snorkeling. He loved backyard BBQs, being the Corn Hole Bags champion of the family, bird watching, fixing anything in his own time. He was very proud of his most recent project of restoring a 40-year golf cart. Mike enjoyed his daily nap and afternoon margarita, grandkids events and being at the lake, reading crime, mystery and historic old western novels and most of all spending time with his wife, kids, grandkids, family and friends. Mike was a retired HVAC contractor and Building Maintenance Engineer. He spent his career at Northland Aluminum, Libby Electric, Ewald Dairy, Opus Corporation, B & D Plumbing, Heating & A/C, and Hennepin County. Upon early retirement he spent his time working on the "to-do" list and enjoying the slow life. Mike will be remembered as an easy going, funny, kindhearted, low-key man who loved life and his family.
