Michelle Orcutt Obituary
November 21, 1947 - July 1, 2017
Orcutt, Michelle Annette, a former special education teacher, coordinator and director, died suddenly and unexpectedly, Saturday July 1, 2017 at the age of 69. A resident of Plymouth, MN for over 20 years.
Preceded in death by father, Kenneth James Orcutt and mother, Emma Maxine Orcutt. Survived by her beloved sister, Karen Orcutt and her dog, Scotty.
Michelle was born on November 21, 1947 in St Louis Missouri and resided in St Joseph, Misssouri, Chaska, MN and Plymouth.
She served 41 years in professional service in special education, administration and supervision of special education. Michelle retired as the director of Interagency Services for the Carver Scott Educational Cooperative in Chaska, Mn in July 2006. Before working in Carver Scott she worked in Chaska schools, Osseo schools, other special education agencies and adjunct professor work at the University level of special education study. Michelle held a Master degree in special education and Education Administration.
The attributes described by anyone who knew her, gentle kindness to all and deep compassion. She served others always before self. She lived a good life with social grace and caring.
Memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 13, 1:00 PM with a visitation 1 hour before at the Wayzata Community Church, 125 E Wayzata Blvd in Wayzata with a reception to follow. Private interment at Summit Park Cemetery.
Memorials will be directed to Orono Foundation for Education and Interfaith Outreach Community Partners: Great Expectations.
