Mildred Kertson Obituary Kertson, Mildred Millie Age 85, born December 22, 1923, passed away peacefully on April 23, 2009. Preceded in death by parents, William Stroup and Margaret Campbell; husband, James W Kertson, and son James M. Kertson. Survived by daughter, Jacqueline (Robert) Cassidy; son, Jeffery (Teresa) Kertson; grandchildren, John (Alicia) Cassidy, Cynthia (Matthew) Elumba, Jackson and Madeline Kertson; great-grandchildren, Joseph, Thomas, Elizabeth Cassidy and Ethan and Connor Elumba; brother, Searle (Verna) Stroup; and cousins. Millie was the Director of Christian Education for 40+years at Wayzata Community Church. She was very active in UCC, PEO, and Interfaith Outreach. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 29 from 5-7 PM at Wayzata Community Church, 125 East Wayzata Blvd, Wayzata and the memorial service will be Thursday, April 30 at 11 AM at Wayzata Community Church.
