Mildred Roderick Obituary Roderick, Mildred L. Millie Age 80 of Maple Plain. Passed away unexpectedly in Colorado Springs, CO on August 14, 2006. Millie was born December 10, 1925 in Hawarden, Iowa to Frank and Amelia McAnch. She was raised by Arthur and Jeanette Weeks, on a farm in Mora, Minnesota. Millie met Robert G. Roderick in Anoka and they were married June 16, 1948. Besides raising a family of four, Millie worked at Hillcrest Nursing Home for 17 years doing private duty nursing care. Bob and Millie celebrated 58 years of marriage together. She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all. Millie is survived by, her husband Robert G. Roderick; children, Dean (Vickie) Roderick, Gary (Maggie) Roderick, Debbie (Dan) Goble and Steve (Kathy) Roderick; eight grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Velma Grant, brother, Robert Stover. Visitation will be held Thursday, August 17, from 6-9 PM at the Maple Plain SDA Church, 4849 Main Street, Maple Plain. Funeral service will be Friday, August 18, at 10 AM at Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church, 15321 Wayzata Blvd, Minnetonka. Interment at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery, Friday at 2 PM.
