Mildred Syverton Obituary "Midge" age 101, passed away peacefully at home on May 27, 2010. Midge was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dr. Jerome T. Syverton, daughter Jane, and longtime companion, Larry Hall. She was a devoted and cherished mother, grandmother of 10 and great-grandmother of 21. Flowers, music, dancing, antiques and golf were her passions. Loving, caring and with great strength, Midge was full of grace, energy, fun and an indomitable spirit. She was a longtime member of the Lake Minnetonka Garden Club, Naples Garden Club and on the board of Stevens Square. Midge daily recounted her blessings of which she had many and we, her family, were so blessed to have her. Midge is survived by daughters, Gail Blake (Robbie), Laurie Shull (Tony), and countless grandchildren, great- grandchildren and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Lake Minnetonka Garden Club or St. Martin's-by-the-Lake Memorial Garden. A private service will be held.
