Miriam Anderson Obituary Anderson, Miriam Jane (nee Mehrling) Born October 22, 1922 in Montpelier, OH. Fell asleep in the Lord on September 13, 2008. She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Rod Chandler; loving husband, Dale William. She is survived by her beloved son, Gregg (Audrey); loving grandsons, Jordan, Evan (Yong), Darin and Logan; dear sister, Beverly (Merlin); nieces, Cheryl Lynn, Pamela (David), Lisa (David); and nephew, James (Chris). After graduating from Libbey High School in Toledo, Ohio, she attended the University of Toledo. Miriam became office manager at Collingwood Presbyterian Church in Toledo for many years before moving to Wayzata, MN to be with her family. She was an avid big band music and dance lover, an enthusiastic cat rescuer (Max, et. al.) and was in awe of the ocean, especially the wild New England coast.
