Monique Hansen Obituary
Hansen, Monique Laure DeBray age 82 of Plymouth, died April 12, 2009. Born in Paris France on March 12, 1927, the daughter of Helene and Emille DeBray. Monique attended the University of Paris, The Sorbone; worked for the French War Office and later for Air France prior to her departure to the United States. She owned and operated Le Lys de Provence, a French import business in the International Market Square for a number of years. Monique provided items of furniture, porcelain and fabrics to interior designers. She loved talking to her clients about the manufacturing and merits of her products along with comments about France, history and beauty. Monique is survived by her loving husband, Harold; step-sons, Harold Jr. and Gregory Alan and wife MaryJo as well as numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews and nieces in France. Our most heartfelt thanks to Allina Hospice, whose care and kindness was like that of a loving family.
