Myron 'Mo' Moland Obituary Moland, Myron H., "Mo", age 80, of Wayzata passed away March 19, 2025. He grew up in Duluth and attended East High School and UMD. He married the love of his life, Carol, and moved to Wayzata. He worked at Med General before following his entrepreneurial spirit and opening Molands Firewood Supply and Birchcraft Incorporated.
Mo was a teller of tall tales and an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. But his true passion was his love for Jesus and the unconditional love of his family.
Mo was preceded in death by daughter, Amie; parents, Howard and Laura; brother, Gary; brother-in-law, John Syck. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Carol (Lutz); sister, Gloria Syck; sister-in-law Vivian Johnson (Gary); brothers-in law, Tom Lutz (Lou) and Gary Lutz (Gloria); many nieces, nephews and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00pm on March 31 at St. Phillip the Deacon Lutheran Church in Plymouth with visitation beginning at 11:00am. Luncheon at the church will follow the service. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Amie Moland Memorial Scholarship at the University of St. Thomas.
