Nancy Thorp Obituary Thorp, Nancy Mae (Hoel) August 21, 1930 - September 13 2021 Nancy Hoel Thorp age 91, of Deephaven passed away peacefully Monday, September 13th. She was a graduate of Washburn High School and Carleton College. She and her husband Ralph were married for 58 years until Ralphs death in 2013. Nancy was an entrepreneur and started her own travel and convention business while living in Madison and then became a successful real estate agent with Burnet Realty in Wayzata, MN. She was an active member of PEO a womans philanthropic organization, and past president of the Carlton alumni board. Nancy is the mother of two sons, Steven (Terry) and David (Cheryl), and Nana to 4 granddaughters; Anne, Claire, Mae, and Ava. She loved entertaining and family gatherings. A private interment at Lakewood Cemetery will be planned.
