Nellene Missling Obituary Missling, Nellene Ann age 55, of Minnetonka, was called home after a courageous 8 1/2 year battle with breast cancer on August 3, 2008. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter & Marion Weckwerth; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Ervin & Madge Missling and her brother-in-law, Roger Missling. She is survived by her husband, Stuart; sons, Neil and Scot; brother, Allen Weckwerth and wife Darlene; sisters, Lois Witchall and husband Craig and Audrey Vernon and husband Richard; sister-in-law, Marlene Sorensen; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins; her loving companion, Beau; as well as other loving relatives and friends. Nellene was a loving wife and mother. She taught special education in her early years. She then went on to teach for 23 years at Becker Elementary in Becker, Minnesota. She was an active member of St. Philip the Deacon Lutheran church and was a past Sunday School Teacher. Funeral service 10:30 am Saturday, August 9, 2008 at St. Philip the Deacon Lutheran Church, 17205 County Road 6, Plymouth. Visitation 5-8 pm Friday at David Lee Funeral Home, 1220 E. Wayzata Blvd., Wayzata and one-half hour prior to the service at church. Interment Groveland Cemetery, Minnetonka.
