Nicholas (Nick) J. Wood, age 42, of Watertown, MN, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, September 18, 2025. Born on February 13, 1983, in Bloomington, MN, people were drawn to Nick's warmth, humor, and kindness which radiated to everyone who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Laurence (Larry) Wood. Nick is lovingly remembered by his mother Nancy; brother Jeffrey (Brenna, Warren, Henry); Aidan Magel; and a wide circle of cherished friends.

Nick graduated from Dunwoody Institute with a degree in auto mechanics and built a career with a foundation of dedication, honesty, and skill. He began his career at Walt's Garage and eventually became its proud sole owner, earning the trust of customers and colleagues.

Nick loved golf and spent countless hours on the course, playing in multiple leagues and forging deep friendships along the way. His quick wit, warm hugs, memorable laugh, and radiant smile will be deeply missed.

We take comfort in knowing that Nick is now held in God's loving embrace, experiencing peace and joy beyond understanding.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 25 at Christ Lutheran Church at 11:00 am, 5084 E Main St., Maple Plain, MN. Visitation begins one hour prior to the service.
