Nicole Powers Obituary Powers, Nicole Anne Age 35, of Minneapolis. Passed away October 20, 2009. Preceded in death by grandfather, Dr. John L. Powers. Survived by parents, John and Roxanne Powers, sister Robin Kinning, and her husband, Joe Kinning, nephews, Joey and Ryan Kinning, grandparents, Herman "Jack" and Vineta Jensen and Lois Powers; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Nikki was a graduate of The Blake School and Syracuse University, where she was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma. She worked in New York, Minneapolis and Chicago in public relations, promotions and sales. Nikki was an avid runner and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed. A private service was held on October 24. Memorials preferred to the University of Minnesota Medical Center or The Blake School.
