Norman Schrah Obituary
69, of Plymouth, MN passed away on May 4th 2010. Norm was born December 29, 1940 to Lois and Frederick Schrah in Saginaw, Michigan. Norm spent his early years growing up in Michigan and later moved to Minnesota in 1980. He was enlisted in the US Army Reserves in 1963. He spent the majority of his working career with General Mills in Minneapolis, MN where he worked as a contracts manager until his retirement in 2009. He was very well respected by his clients and colleagues. His work allowed him to travel and see many parts of the world. Norm was an excellent athlete from an early age and participated in many sports. In his later years he became very fond of playing golf and spending time with his golfing buddies. Norm is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Marian; and his two sons, Michael and Andrew, who were the light of his life; and one grandson, Michael, whom he dearly loved. He is also survived by his two sisters, Sandra Dow of Tucson, AZ, and Sharon Hardy of Hilton Head, SC. Norm will always be remembered for his kind heart and gentle soul but mostly as just a great guy to be around. Visitation Friday 5-8 PM at David Lee Funeral Home, 1220 East Wayzata Blvd, Wayzata.
