Wenger, Odean (Dean) Gary

Age 75, of Plymouth, MN. Born in Max, ND on November 22, 1940 and passed away on November 5, 2016. Survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Lois; son, Jeffrey (Pam) Wenger of Two Harbors; daughter, Jennifer (Joe) Stukenberg of Edina; grandchildren, Carson Wenger, Josie and Wrigley Stukenberg; brother, Vernon Wenger of Minot, ND. Preceded in death by his sister, Margie (Arnold) Semchenko of Minot, ND, and parents, John and Martha Wenger of Max, ND. Graduated from NDSU in 1963 and worked as an industrial engineer for the US government at Rock Island Arsenal, Rock Island, IL, also worked with the US government in France and Germany for four years, worked in Minneapolis for IBM Super Valu, Minnetonka Labs and Target Corp, retiring in 2002. Odean loved to sing in the choir, fish, golf, play cards, watch baseball (Dodgers), do things with the grandchildren and going on mission trips to El Salvador with the church. Dean will be dearly missed by family and friends. A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 21 at 11 AM with visitation starting at 10 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church, 2060 County Road 6 in Long Lake. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Trinity Lutheran Church or the Alzheimers Association.
