Orlando Mickelson Obituary of Deerwood, MN passed away peacefully Monday, July 28th, 2014. Born May 27th, 1923 in Pelican Rapids, MN, the son of Gertie and Alfred Mickelson. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend and a proud Marine Corps Veteran. He is survived by the love of his life for 67 years, his wife, Dorothy; his daughter, Marlys and son-in-law Keith; granddaughters, Barbara (Douglas) Paulson, Jennifer (Dan) Turnqust, Heidie (Scott) Thompson, and Lindie Seleen; great-grandchildren, Amanda, Andrew, Annika, Brady, and Rebecca. Funeral service Thursday, July 31, 10 AM at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 115 Wayzata Blvd. West in Wayzata.
