Pamela Snyder Obituary Snyder, Pamela Rae, 80, of Victoria, MN, passed away on June 20, 2024. Pamela graduated from Robbinsdale High School in 1962. She went on to attend the University of Minnesota and St. Mary's Nursing School, graduating in 1964. She was married to the late Edwin Fredrick Snyder in 1965, and they lived for many years in Minnetrista, MN raising their 4 children. She is survived by her current partner, Architect Andrejs J. Cers. Her sisters, Susan Carlson and Nancy Banks; brother, Kerry Kammann; three of her children, Emily, Ted and Robson; twelve grandchildren, William, McCallain, Jack, Rowan, Luke, Charlotte, Cole, Nola, Sofie, Corrine, Nola, Beatrix and two great-grandchildren, Milo and Francis. Pamela was preceded in death by her loving husband, Fred, of 45 years in 2009; daughter, Stephanie Jean in 2017 and daughter, Jennifer Rae in 1965. Pamela will be remembered as a loving, generous and creative mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Her devotion to family and friends was unprecedented. Pamela was the favorite Nanna to all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They will forever remember her as Nanna Pammy. Her talent for growing and arranging flowers was shared with her sister Susan that led to The Flower Peddlers, where they sold stunning floral arrangements and handmade grapevine wreaths at numerous markets around the state. Her vibrant potted flowers, surrounding her house, brought a smile to all that passed by. When celebrating life and honoring her community, Pamelas love for cooking brought friends together for whom she shared her sought-after and widely acclaimed lasagna and chocolate chip cookies. Pamela loved spending her free time boating on Lake Minnetonka with her friends and family. She worked as an OB/GYN nurse for over 40 years, where she had a true gift for caring for at-risk mothers and newborn babies. She maintained a harmonious balance between work and family obligations, understanding the significance of supporting all who relied on her. She will be missed and remembered lovingly. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at 12 p.m. at St. Nicholas Church, 412 4th Street, Carver, MN 55315. Please consider memorials in her name to St. Nicholas Church where they will be used to support the prayer garden often attended by our mother.
