Patricia J. Baxter, age 84 of Wayzata, Minnesota died peacefully at Meridian Manor in Wayzata on August 30, 2015. Pat was preceded in death by her husband Rodney, children David, Todd, and Pamela Weber, her parents H. J. Price (Hub) and Esther Price (Anderson) and her brother John Price. She is survived by her grandchildren Emily Jane Titus (Benjamin), Mackenzie Michael Weber, and Benjamin David Baxter. She is also survived by her beloved great-grandson, George Henry Titus as well as her daughter-in-law, Debra Baxter and son-in-law, Michael Weber. Pat was born in Havre, Montana and graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College. In 1955, she married Rod and lived in Laguna Beach, California before settling in Wayzata, where she lived for more than 55 years. Pat worked in a variety of positions in the Wayzata area before retiring from Daytons/Target/Macys in 2010. Pat lived a courageous life, overcoming her own grief by bestowing kindness toward others. We will miss the special plates of brownies and blueberry muffins that she baked and shared generously. If you knew Pat, she never missed your birthday, anniversary or other special occasion she was amazingly thoughtful and kind. Pat had a zest for life and gave her family many wonderful traditions, adventures and memories that will be treasured forever. She loved her extended family, lifelong Montana and Gustavus friends, Wayzata neighbors, and many other friends scattered across the country. She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all of the lives that she touched. Special thanks and appreciation are extended to the Park Nicollet Medical and Hospice staff and the wonderful staff at Meridian Manor. In her final days, Pat was blessed with the special care, love and support of dear friends, Jeanie and Joe Waterloo, Barbara Krig, and Steven Bergman. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, September 18 at 3:00 p. m. at St. Philip the Deacon Lutheran Church, 17205 County Road 6, Plymouth 55447. Memorials are preferred to Gustavus Adolphus College/Evelyn Sponberg Young Scholarship Endowment Fund, 800 West College Avenue, St. Peter, MN 56082, Baxter Family Memorial Fund, receiving organization to be named, and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 3001 Metro Drive Suite 100, Bloomington, MN 55425.
