Patricia Halverson Obituary Beloved Mother, Grandmother, teacher, traveler and gardener
Patricia Halverson, 90, of Cypress, Texas, formerly of Plymouth, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on July 18, 2024. She was born on February 22, 1934, to Archie and Laura Ferguson, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded by her husband of 58 years, David Halverson, and her grandson, Robert Lovato.
Patricia was a dedicated elementary school teacher in the Wayzata School District for many years, inspiring generations of students with her passion for learning and creativity. After retiring she enjoyed traveling all over the country in her RV with her husband. She loved to garden, read and enjoyed bible study.
She is survived by her daughter, Ellyce Lovato (Chris), her son, Brad Halverson (Teresa), her grandchildren, Meredith Lovato, Nathan Halverson, Kelsey Maczkowicz (Todd), and her great-grandchildren, Serenity Halverson (Angelica Lucero), Kamryn Maczkowicz. Kole Maczkowicz. Beloved cat Kate.
Services will be held August 22, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis Minnesota.
The family would like to thank the staff of Park Creek, and Willow Care Cottages and Reliant At Home Hospice for their compassionate care and support. Patricia will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
