Born in Minneapolis, passed away at the age of 85 on January 21, 2018. Preceded in death by daughter, Mary; parents, John & Alvenia; brothers, Bill and Jack; sister, Mary Pavlik; grandaughter, Meghan Brickley. He was raised in Deephaven and served in the United States Naval Reserve. He retired from Northwestern Bell after 30+ years, bought a salmon fishing boat which he named after his retirement plan name "MIPP" and fished Lake Michigan. Retirement did not last long and he started his own business, Brickley Service Co. and was also recruited by ADC Telecommunications as a Senior Project Engineer. He was a member of the Orono Lions and active in Orono Hockey. Pat was a true outdoorsman and loved hunting, fishing, golfing, tennis and enjoyed playing blackjack. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family. Everyone was always welcome in his home. He loved sharing his knowledge, teaching his children all he could right up to his last days. Survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Carol; daughters, Kathy (Harold) Katz, Beth (Jon Vukelich) Allen, Jennifer (Jason) Revels; sons, Pat (Dianne), Mike (Diane) & Scott Schneider; grandchildren, John (Jaida Williams) Brickley, Ana (Joe) Pietruszewski, Amy (Gregg) Biniek, Carly (Robert Farrell) Hirsch, Sarah (Mitch Perry) Katz, Sam (Jess Shor) Katz, Lisa Katz, Tina (Eli Spitzner) Allen, Trevor Allen, Katie Allen, Margaret Brickley, Melissa Brickley, Michelle (Tim) Larson, Meredith Brickley, Jack Revels, Justin Revels, ; 14 great-grandchildren with 2 more due at the end of January. Celebration of Life service 11 a.m. Friday, February 2, 2018 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 2060 County Road 6, Long Lake with visitation one hour prior at church.
