Paul Johnson Obituary Paul William Johnson, Paul William age 83 of Orono formerly Golden Valley passed away on August 4th, 2017 with his family by his side. He was born on May 30, 1934 in Stockholm, WI. Paul worked for the C&NW Railroad for 42 years, before retiring in 1984. He loved spending time at the cabin, watching the Twins and listening for the trains as they pass by his window. Paul was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rueben and Edna Johnson; brothers, Bob Johnson and Mike Johnson and his beloved son, Roger Johnson. Paul is survived by his wife of 63 years, Dorothy (Holland) Johnson; daughters, Cheryl (Shale Nyberg) Johnson, Suzanne (Scott) Anderson; daughter-in-law, Marie Johnson; grandchildren, Jeffrey (Linda Groff) Johnson, Elizabeth (Chad Horton) Johnson, Amanda (Ryan Ward) Anderson, Paul Anderson, Emma Anderson; great-grandson, Jasper Johnson; brothers, Dick (Laurie) Johnson, Dale (Clareen) Johnson, Kelly (Carol) Johnson, and many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Memorial service 11 am August 12th at Glory of Christ Lutheran Church, 4040 County Road 101 North, Plymouth, MN 55446. Visitation one hour prior to the service at church. Memorials preferred to the American Cancer Society, Alzheimers Association or the charity of your choice.
