Paul Olson Obituary Was born on April 7, 1940 in Minneapolis to Bertil and Ruth (Roel) Olson. Paul graduated from West High School in 1958. He was a third-generation shared owner of Minneapolis Floral, a family business, along with his brother Larry. Paul married Marthann Ziemer in 1974 and they were blessed with a son, Andrew and daughter Amy, also four beautiful grandchildren. He was a member of Hennepin Avenue United Methodist Church and attended Ridgewood and Christ Presbyterian Church. Paul was a 61-year member of the St. Louis Park Kiwanis Club where he held the presidency three times. He was also a past president of North Central Florist Assn. and Minnesota Commercial Flower Growers. He was a generous, gracious, gentle man. Celebration of Life will be held at Lakewood Chapel, 36th and Hennepin Avenue, Minneapolis, on Tuesday, October 26. Visitation at 11:30, memorial service at 12:00. Reception to follow at Lakewood. Memorial preferred to Christ Presbyterian Church of Edina, World Vision, or Kiwanis International.
