Penny Finke Obituary Age 37 died of heart failure. She was surrounded in love by her family. Penny was a loving partner, endearing daughter, caring sister and dedicated aunt. Penny will be fondly remembered for her dedication to her family and friends, untold strength in the face of adversity, her love of travel and her passion for shopping. She battled lupus for 22 years. She was courageous through all her illnesses. Penny enjoyed traveling to Arizona with friends and family. She always wanted to live there. Nursing was a passion. When she became an RN she worked for Fairview. She loved helping people. Penny attended St. Therese, Benilde St Margaret's, and finished college with her RN degree. Rest in Peace to our guardian angel. Preceded in death by her grandparents, Ed and Lorraine Finke and Robert and Doralia Brown and uncle, Bill Brown. Survived by her life partner, Tee-J Lofton; mother, Janie, father Rodger; brothers, Peter (Marty), and Paul (Katie), and very special nieces Addie, Izzy, and Elly. Many cousins, uncles and aunts. Mass of Christian Burial at The Church of St. Therese, 18323 Minnetonka Blvd in Deephaven at 5:30 Thursday, August 31. Visitation one hour prior to Mass. Private interment at a later date. Memorials preferred to the Kidney Foundation.
