Obituary

Phyllis Lambert Obituary Lambert, Phyllis E. Mickey age 87 of Wayzata passed away peacefully into the hands of God Saturday afternoon following a brief illness. She was preceded in death by her husband William; parents, Guy and Dorothy Enos and her brother, David. Mickey was raised in rural Hopkins and was an avid horsewoman. She participated and won many horse shows and was particularly fond of the annual horse show at the Minnesota State Fair. She attended Pine Manor and the University of Minnesota and was a member of the Gamma Phi Beta sorority. But her true identity was as a devoted and loving mother to her four children, Jeff Lambert (Sue), Shelly Weingarten (Peter), Stephen Lambert and Peter Lambert and to her eight grandchildren, Kelly, Paul and David Lambert, Mark and Eric Weingarten, Alexandra, Natalie and Gabriella Lambert. Special thanks to the staff at Hillcrest of Wayzata and for the loving care she received while in hospice at Methodist Hospital. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at the Church of St. Bartholomew, 630 E. Wayzata Blvd., Wayzata. Visitation 5-8 PM Tuesday at David Lee Funeral Home, 1220 E. Wayzata Blvd., Wayzata and one hour prior to Mass at church. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Mendota Heights. Memorials preferred to Hammer Residences, Inc., 1909 E. Wayzata Blvd., Wayzata, MN 55391 for Kellys grandma sweetie.
