Phyllis Thomton Obituary Thomton, Phyllis Marie (1944-2021) Phyllis Marie 'Phyll' Thomton age 77, passed away peacefully embraced by family on July 2, 2021. Born in Bagley, MN on May 31, 1944, Phyll was a longtime resident of Plymouth, MN. Phyll is survived by her beloved children; Brian Thomton (Lynn Verville), Lana Thomton & Rachel Lynn; son-in-law, Kelly Heikkila; grandchildren; Carter, Charles & Ethan Heikkila and Lizzie, Jack & Harrison Zitnak, brothers; Clinton, Kenneth, Clayton & Robert Solberg and sister, Charlotte Butler. She was preceded in death by her infant baby, Troy, son-in-law, Douglas Zitnak; children's father, Dale Thomton; parents; Ernest and Leora Solberg; brother, Ernest and sisters; Joyce & Shirley. Phyll dedicated her life to raising her three children and was in her element spending time with her six grandchildren. She found pride in serving her community during her career at Wells Fargo for 33 years. She will be remembered for her joyful spirit, sense of style, compassion and wit. She leaves behind a legacy of love and unyielding dedication to her family and friends. A memorial service will be held Monday, July 19th at David Lee Funeral Home, 1220 Wayzata Blvd East in Wayzata, MN at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Park Nicollet Foundation which provided exceptional and loving Hospice care to Phyll.
