Ramona Pearson Obituary 86 years old, passed away peacefully in her sleep on November 8, 2014, at Presbyterian Homes in Wayzata. A resident of St. Louis Park for 59 years, she was born in Mayville, ND, in 1928, and graduated from Concordia College (Moorhead) in 1948. She taught high school English in Breckenridge and St. Louis Park from 1948-1955. She married Curtis A. Pearson in 1952, and together they had 5 children. Ramona was active at Westwood Lutheran Church since 1956, and the League of Women Voters. She served as president of Law Wives and Minneapolis Golf Club Women Golfers. She traveled the world including to the Great Wall of China, the pyramids of Egypt, the fjords of Norway, and much of Europe, but was the happiest when she was home and surrounded by her family. She loved reading and belonged to 2 book clubs, but her favorite book was the Holy Bible. She was very active with Mount Olivet Rolling Acres was a founder of an annual MORA golf fundraiser at the Minneapolis Golf Club which held its 25th annual event in 2014. She was a great lady, loved and admired by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by parents, Raymond A. Peterson and Hildegarde V. Peterson, and brother, Norman Peterson and sister, Eline Patee. She is survived by husband, Curt (62 years, 2 months, and 8 days); children, Charles Pearson (Kim), Kurt Pearson, Mark Pearson, Todd Pearson (Melinda Greer), and Lizanne Larsen (Scott); and grandchildren, Kallie Larsen, Matthew Larsen, Katy Pearson, Kristin Pearson, Cole Pearson and Ella Pearson. Memorial service on Friday, November 14 at 2:00 p.m. at Westwood Lutheran Church, 9001 Cedar Lake Rd, St. Louis Park, MN 55426. Visitation starting at 1:00 p.m. and reception after service.
