He is lovingly remembered and missed by his daughter Ruthie,son-in-law Brian, and grandchildren Alison, Lacey, Evan, Malinda and Anna. Ray had a small town, southern Minnesota boyhood and he graduated from Bricelyn High School. His service as a signalman in the Navy during World War II took him all over the world. His career was spent in the Elk River School District as a teacher, elementary school principal and administrator. His post-retirement years were spent in the Lake Minnetonka area where he enjoyed his involvement with the Minnetonka Center for the Arts and Wayzata Community Church. He supported causes that encouraged understanding, compassion, inclusion and peace in our human family.
