of Plymouth, MN passed away peacefully on Feb. 16,2026, with his family by his side. Ray was born on Apr. 4, 1934, in Minneapolis.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Sr., Stephania, and brother Jim.

He is survived by his wife, Merle; daughter, Pamela O'Neill (Bill); sons, Peter (Donna), Paul, Patrick (Lynn); stepchildren, Dawn Eklund (Clyde), Paul Ferguson (Irina), 12 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and sisters, Janice Heine (Bob) and Renee Rauch.

Ray attended De La Salle and North HS and served in the US Navy during the Korean War. He attended the U of M and pursued a career in marketing. He retired from Kraus Anderson in 1999 and wintered in Naples, FL. Ray was active in base-ball, hockey, tennis, and especially golf. He also coached children's sports. He loved reading and crossword puzzles.

On Saturday, February 28, a service will be held at St. Martin's by the Lake Episcopal Church, Minnetonka Beach, and will be available on Zoom. Visitation begins at 11AM, service 12PM, private burial in the church Memorial Garden following the service.

Reception in the church will follow the burial. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity in Ray's name.
