Renate Leegard Obituary Leegard, Donald "Renate" born October 3, 1941, died May 10, 2020. He is survived by 4 sisters and 3 brothers, Nancy (Lee) Danielson, Betty (Dave) Bellefeuille, Paul (Denell) Leegard, Diane (Dan) Kuehne, Patty (Dan) Derouin, Mark (Chong) Leegard and David Leegard; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Myrtle Leegard. After graduation from Detroit Lakes High School, Don served in the U.S. Army including tours in Germany and Korea. He was employed at Sico Corporation until his retirement. Don was a member of the Model T Ford Club and enjoyed restoring a 1914 Ford to running condition. Due to current virus conditions a memorial service time and date will be decided at a later date.
