Richard 'Dick' Anderson Obituary Anderson, Richard John age 84 of Plymouth, MN passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2024. Preceded in death by parents and twin brother Robert. Dick will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 62 years, Kitty; daughter, Cristal, and son, Curtis Anderson (Amy), his cherished grandchildren, Nick, Rita, Addie and Asher. Also survived by his sister, Dorothy Malooley and family of Spring Valley, IL, along with many nieces, nephews and numerous friends. Dick was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin (Go Packers!), raised in West De Pere, WI, graduated from West De Pere High School, and went on to graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree from Carroll College in Waukesha, WI. He married the love of his life on August 18, 1962. He then spent 6 months in US Army boot camp and 6 years in the Army Reserves. Dick loved his family, friends, sports, pets, nature, Green Bay Packers, seashells, the cabin, Vodka Gimlets, coaching/watching his kids & grandkids in various sports & activities, Neil Diamond, game shows, being in the sun and playing cribbage. Dick was under the impression that he was put on this earth to make people laugh, and that he did! The family would like to give a big thank you to everyone at Wealshire of Bloomington/Medina for providing care to individuals with Dementia & Alzheimers. Thank you all for your love & support! Dick's sweet smile, beautiful blue eyes, gift of laughter, good times and kindness touched many lives. He will be greatly missed. Service will be held at St.Philip the Deacon Lutheran Church, 17205 County Rd 6 in Plymouth, MN on Saturday, April 13, 2024. Visitation from 10 am-11 am, service at 11:00 am with lunch to follow.
