Richard 'Dick' Williams Obituary Richard Dick Williams passed away peacefully at home on February 22, 2022. Born July 9, 1934 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Dick was the youngest of four. He graduated from Choctaw High School (Oklahoma) in 1952, then enlisted in the Navy and served on several ships; including the USS Hornet and USS Oriskany. After he was honorably discharged, he found a career in early computing and worked for companies such as; Univac, Telex, and Seagate. After retirement Dick spent several years working as a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity. He also enjoyed going to his lake place, watching the Twins, and reading the latest John Grisham novel. Dick was preceded in death by his wife, Paulette and his youngest son, Jon. Dick will be sorely missed by his family; his children, David Williams, Paul Williams, Todd Williams, Stephanie Augustus, son-in-law Scott Augustus, and grandchildren, Kyle, Nate, Braden, and Brenna. Remembrance ceremony will be held on Wednesday March 2, 2022, at 2:00 pm CST with visitation starting at 1:00 pm CST at David Lee Funeral Home, 1220 E Wayzata Blvd, Wayzata, MN. There will be a reception to follow the service, details will be given the on that day.
