Richard 'Dick' Johnson Obituary Born in Edinburg, ND October 30, 1939. Graduate of Edinburg High School in 1957, Concordia College, Moorhead, MN in 1961, and Northern Michigan University in 1967. He married Dorothy E. Anderson on June 4, 1961. Dicks almost 50 year professional career provided a wide range of higher education teaching, administration and industry consulting positions at numerous colleges and universities throughout the Upper Midwest. He actively volunteered in the church and the community. Survived by daughters, Beth Chalmers, Mara Widmann (Jonathan), Sara Ryon (George); grandchildren, Darby, Tate and Finn Chalmers, Jonah, Adam and Soren Widmann, Kayla Ryon; great-grandson, Clayton Ryon; sister, Beverly Rosencrans. Memorial service 1PM Friday, August 3, 2018 at St. Philip the Deacon Lutheran Church, 17205 County Road 6, Plymouth 55447 with visitation one hour prior to service at church. Interment Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Edinburg, North Dakota on August 4, 2018.
