Richard Szulczewski Obituary Szulczewski, Richard L. age 75 of Plymouth. Dick passed away peacefully May 8, 2007 due to complications from a fall. He was preceded in death by his son, Brian and parents Louis & Rose Szulczewski. He will be deeply missed by Janice, his wife of 53 years; daughter, Susan; granddog, Oscar; further survived by his brother, Robert & wife Nancy Szulczewski; niece, Kelly Owen & husband Glenn; nephew Scott Szulczewski & wife Liz all of CA. Dick was a graduate of University of Wisconsin in Electrical Engineering & retired from Honeywell Military Avionics Division. He proudly served his country during the Korean War aboard the USS Bristol-DD 857 & currently served as Treasurer of Bristol Veteran's Assn. A Celebration of Dick's life will be held 11:00 am Saturday at Colonial Church of Edina, 6200 Colonial Way. Visitation 5-7 pm Friday at David Lee Funeral Home in Wayzata. Private interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Colonial Church or to family for memorials yet to be determined. We wish you fair winds and following seas.
